SKYTRACK PRIVACY POLICY

Uney GmbH (“Uney”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of your personal information. We have prepared this Privacy Policy to provide you with information about our privacy practices - how we collect, use, and disclose the information you provide or which we otherwise collect in providing SkyTrack services (“Services") to you (for more details on SkyTrack, please refer to our SkyTrack Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) following this link here). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using our Services.

By continuing to interact with our Services in any manner, you expressly consent to us processing your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy.

You” or “User” means the entity you represent in accepting this Privacy Policy or, if that does not apply, you individually. If you are accepting on behalf of your employer or another entity, you represent and warrant that: (i) you have the full legal authority to bind your employer or such entity to this Privacy Policy; (ii) you have read and understood this Privacy Policy; and (iii) you agree to this Privacy Policy on behalf of the party that you represent.

1 - Privacy notice

1.1 Information We Collect

We may collect personally identifying information provided through voluntary registration at: https://getskytrack.com and profile account:

  • Email address, Full Name, Country, Phone number, Company, Industry, Professional Role.
  • Email addresses and names of your team.
  • Other information that you provide to us to receive technical or further service-related assistance during customer service interactions.

Non-service-related information: If you interact with us at events, webinars, or from other marketing activities and you give us your contact details or as to be contacted in one way or another, we will process that Information for this purpose.

Information we collect automatically when you use the Services: We keep track an activity log which means recorded logs of how you interact with our Services, including browsing our site, downloading the content, and taking other actions within the Services. In addition to this data, we may collect the technical data including, but not limited to, IP Address, Date and time of the request, Time zone differences with GMT, Request content, Access status / code status http, Amount of data transmitted, Internet platform, Event logs, etc.

Information from our AI-based chatbot and assistant technology (“SkyTrack AI”): Communication with the SkyTrack AI may be recorded in order to improve its operation and provide the Services. By using the SkyTrack AI, Users consent to the gathering and processing of the data they transmit.

For your awareness, our SkyTrack AI comprise the followings:

  • For processing technical data, we develop our own AI technology called SkyTrack.
  • For the chatbot feature, we use the AI-based technology (ChatGPT) provided by OpenAI OpCo, LLC, where the Users also agree to be bound by its terms of services and data privacy policy (link).

Information from other sources: We may obtain information, including your personal data, from our Site or Services and combine or associate it with information from third parties and sources (our partners, advertisers, and integrated services). We will treat the combined information as personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer, and technical information about Users' means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

We will endeavor to keep your information accurate and up to date and not keep it for longer than is necessary. We do not collect your sensitive personal data.

1.2 Purposes of collecting, processing, and storing personal data

We collect your personal data to provide the Services, personalize and improve your experience using the Services we provide. This may include authenticating you when you log in, processing transactions with you, providing customer support, and managing, maintaining, and improving the Services. In any case, we strive to ensure that the information we collect and use is suitable for this purpose and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy.

The personal data we collect includes the following purposes:

  • Providing customer support and help with our Services when you contact us.
  • Letting you know about other products or services that might better meet your unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), drone, operational remotely piloted aircraft system (RPAS), unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), or other robot (“Robot”) needs.
  • Contacting you about your account, changes to this Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, or other documents.
  • Details of your company and industry to get the most targeted content matching your company’s threat profile.
  • Troubleshooting and testing of our Services to ensure that they secure, reliable, and of a high standard and to prohibit the illegal activity of using our Services.
  • Maintaining and improving our Services.
  • Communicating about Services, offers, and events, and provide news and information.
  • Subscribing to a newsletter, sending product updates or technical alerts.
  • Sending notifications tailored to a specific search profile, content list, query, and Services updates with a summary according to your region, industry, etc. (you can set up email notifications frequency and define what is relevant to you in your account cabinet).
  • Analyzing activity logs and other analytic data to improve productivity, customer experience, trends, and statistics.
  • For analytics and metrics, evaluating the effectiveness of our outreach efforts.
  • Sending marketing communications relating to Services, sales, or promotions via email. You can opt out of these at any time.

For the SkyTrack AI used on the Site and/or integrated into the Services:

  • Analysis of devices event to assist with threats detection and response
  • Responding to your enquiry and route it to the appropriate team.
  • Providing continuity if you return to the chat within the same session.
  • Enabling follow-up contact via your preferred method (email or phone).
  • Monitoring service quality and prevent abuse or technical errors.
  • Interpreting and executing user commands to the Services.
  • Supporting detection, analysis, and remediation of security events.


1.3 Our legal basis for collecting and processing personal data

We will only collect and process your personal data where we have lawful bases. Lawful bases include consent (where you have given consent), contract (where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you (e.g., to deliver our Services), and “legitimate interests”.

By signing up for an account, you gave us consent, which expresses consent to us processing your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy. We do not collect personal information classified as ‘special categories’ or ‘sensitive data’ under the relevant laws.

1.5 Consent

By consenting to this Privacy Policy, you are permitting us to process your personal data specifically for the purposes identified. Specifically, you expressly consent to us processing your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy, which provides transparency to our Users as to how their data is collected and used.

You are not eligible to register and provide us with personal information if you are 16 and under (or subject to the age restriction under the relevant applicable laws where you reside or locates) without your parent/guardian's permission.


1.6 Organizations with which you engage

If you have registered for the Services with your company's domain name ("Organization"), i.e. @yourcompany.com, or if the Services are provided to you through an Organization, you expressly agree that we might provide your Organization with your activity logs on the Services upon prior written request from the Organization owner.

As a result of improving our platform for customers, your personal information provided during registration, such as your names and email addresses, as well as information about when and how you clicked on specific content, will be visible to all members of your company team. This information is confidential and not disclosed outside of your company. If you work as a contractor, you must have a non-disclosure agreement that contains liability for any leakage of personal information obtained in this way.


1.7 How you can opt out of use and disclosure of your information

We will only use your personal data for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as subsequently authorized by you. You can avoid having your personal data disclosed in the following ways: a) do not provide us with your personal data; b) do not access or request Services, or c) email us at [email protected] to request that we deactivate your account and delete your personal information.

Following the registration process, we also allow Users the option to opt out of receiving emails from us. Users who opt-in may remove themselves from emailing lists at any time through the edit profile pages or by following the instructions at the end of any email they receive from us.

1.8 Information security and transfer of personal information to other countries

In order to provide the Services, we may transfer, process and store personal information in several countries and may also use cloud-based services for this purpose. We may also subcontract storage or processing of your information to third parties located in countries other than your home country. Information collected within one country may, for example, be transferred to and processed in another country, which may not provide the same level of protection for personal data as the country in which it was collected. You acknowledge and agree that we may transfer your personal information as described above for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy. We take all reasonable precautions to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorized access. We implement where appropriate safeguards such as:

  • Transfer Impact Statements;
  • Adequacy Decisions; and/or
  • Swiss IDTA Safeguards.


2 - Your account, retention, and deletion of the personal data

We may provide you with tools and preference settings that allow you to access, correct, delete, withdraw, and modify information associated with your personal data.

We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to carry out the Services to you and will store the personal data for five years from the moment the account is terminated or not used. Then all your personal data collected through the platform will be deleted, as required by applicable law. In some cases, we choose to retain certain information in a depersonalized or aggregated form.

We may also retain certain information about you as required by law or for legitimate interest purposes as set above after you delete your account.

Services are neither intended for nor designed to attract anyone under the relevant age of consent to enter binding legal contracts under the laws of their respective jurisdictions. We do not intentionally or knowingly collect personal information through the Services from anyone under that age.
