✨ SkyTrack ver 0.9 update - A smoother onboarding experience
In this release, we focused on the fundamentals for you go from signing up to running your first mission with clarity and confidence.This isn’t about checking off a long feature list. It’s about giving you a cohesive first-time experience across web, desktop, and simulation, so you can focus on building rather than figuring out the flow.
What’s updated in this version? A better start for builders
A unified onboarding path
Now you can sign up and authenticate via the web portal which includes Google login. Instead of treating the web portal, desktop app, and simulation as separate steps, we’ve made them feel like one continuous place to start. Then you will land directly inside a basic organization and workspace, and move into the desktop app without losing context.
The idea is simple: you shouldn’t have to “start over” just because you switched surfaces. AfterAfter installing the desktop app, you can pick it up where you left off.
Move mission logic with ease
Once you’re in the desktop app, mission building is intentionally scoped. You can create or reuse a simple mission, move mission logic in and out using JSON, and safely test everything in simulation. The goal here isn’t to expose every possible capability but it’s to make sure what is available is clear, predictable, and safe to explore.
Early mobile access
And for builders who want to peek beyond desktop, the Android app v0.1 is now available via Firebase. It’s early-stage by design, meant for testing and feedback rather than daily use. This release is less about “what’s new” and more about how it feels to begin. If the first mission feels easier, clearer, and less risky than before, then it’s doing its job.
